“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work. (2nd Timothy 3:16-17)
In additional to worship, there is a Wednesday night Bible study for adults. Taught by the pastor, the group meets over coffee and snacks at 7:15 most Wednesday evenings. (See Calendar for dates). We approach the Bible as “Thoughtful Christians” and are not afraid to struggle with the complexity and ambiguity of ancient writings. We approach as believers who desire to grow in faith and discipleship. We approach with open hearts and minds, seeking the Holy Spirit’s leading and insights.
There is also a “Men’s Prayer Breakfast” at the Emma Chase Café at 6:30 Thursday morning. This group reads straight through the Bible and shares prayer concerns over breakfast.
Both groups are ecumenical and welcoming to new members.
Our Christian education program is always evolving to meet the developmental needs of the children and youth who participate.
