The women of our congregation have maintained the Community Closet for nearly 40 years. Distribution was supplemented by semi-annual rummage sales which were eagerly anticipated by the community. The proceeds support PW Mission projects.
In 2006 the Clothes Closet moved “down-town.” Now located in a store front on Broadway, Welcoming Wilma notifies folks that the closet is open for browsing. Suggested donations are posted, but the purpose of the store front is to provide a service to the community through recycling quality goods and keeping main street “alive.” Check the calendar for current closet hours.
