Forty years ago, the women of the congregation recognized the need for early childhood education in of Chase County so they started a cooperative preschool. In 1998 the Presbyterian Preschool became Chase Children’s Services Preschool, a non-profit corporation funded in part by United Way, but still housed in our church.
This is the only group preschool program in the county. It currently offers preschool classes for children 3-5, which teach social and school readiness skills. There is a need for a full day early childhood program and the church, CCSP and community groups are collaborating to this end. For information on preschool classes contact us or call 620-220-0161. In addition to fellowship and study, PW operates the Community Clothes Closet and supports the CCS Preschool as well as other local and world wide ministries.
