The Word of God is at the heart of reformed worship. Worship always includes the Word, read and proclaimed. We take the Bible seriously, not literally. The Bible is our source, our access to the living Word of God. God’s desires for humanity are revealed through the text. We learn how God has worked in the past so that we will recognize God’s work among us in the present. God is always inviting us into the blessings of faithfulness, that we might share them with the world.
