Children learn by doing or making. While there is always a special time with children in worship, on most Sunday’s the children leave the worship to go to a class downstairs where they can learn in developmentally appropriate ways. Their curriculum follows and enhances the worship experience with their family. Children return to worship for communion and to share their learning with family and friends. We build the intergenerational community by using teachers from the congregation who take turns teaching the children.
